Updating my blog after years. The period has seen lots of ups and downs in life but these are the waves that keep the ocean interesting and this is why I have always kept my Whatsapp status "Life is Awesome". 

Today I am posting one of my poetry which I wrote on a friend's request and her genuine praise encouraged me to post it. I have one more poem (a romantic one in Hindi ;)) which I can share. But every time I decide to do so I get confused and a little shy as I start feeling it's not worth posting or it's childish. But will try to collect some courage to accept the criticism any other time. Till then all of you please do the favour of reading, contemplating  and reviewing  this one..

HERSELF

“Let me be myself”

 you fear when she says so

fear from

iron strength,

determination,

fear from

she would achieve the height

 prove herself

and your fallacious prejudices not right

fear

coz you have seen

her observance

and how her ideas for your success,

which you ne’er took seriously

in the end were alway’ righteous

Fear for

your authority

superiority

‘She’ be herself

You repeat in your mind

means

Freedom

Equality

Equality! You fear from

The truth

Being equal to her

is beyond your reach

coz only

‘She’ being herself

can Give Way!!
